nudge
Drag on the running page. Claude writes the code. nudge checks it landed.
Drag the handle. The last stretch is small corrections.
When you build a site with an agent, the last stretch is small visual corrections, and words are a poor instrument for them. A subhead capped too narrow. An image half a line off the text beside it. A gap that should match the one above.
nudge puts handles on the running page. Select an element, drag it, resize it, step its type and colour, and nudge records what changed and what it now lines up with. The batch goes to your agent and the agent edits the source. nudge never writes to your files.
One sentence, or one line.
The button on the right in the third section, the one with the pricing heading, move it under the button to its left and make it a little wider.
2. section#how > div.split-mediamoved down 116pxbottom edge aligned with bottom edge of div.split-copy
A move that lands on a guide is recorded as a relationship. The batch tells the agent the image's bottom edge now aligns with the copy beside it, so the fix goes into the layout as alignment and holds at every width. A pixel offset would be right at one viewport and wrong at the next.
A change belongs to a width.
nudge reads the breakpoints out of your own stylesheets. A correction made at 1280 belongs to the range it was made in, and when you narrow the window past a breakpoint it lifts, so you are looking at your real mobile layout rather than your desktop fix stretched over it. Correct the same element again there. The batch carries each one with the width it was measured at and the range it falls in, and tells the agent which rule to change.
Built for Claude Code's browser pane.
Open your dev server in the pane and type /nudge. nudge opens on the page. Make your corrections, type /nudge batch, and they arrive in the prompt box. When Claude's turn ends, the plugin measures the page again and prints what was applied under the answer.
/nudge- Open nudge on the page. Again to close it.
/nudge batch- Pull the batch into the prompt box.
/nudge batch send- Send it straight away.
/nudge at 390- Resize the pane. Also mobile, tablet, desktop.
/nudge dark- Switch the pane's colour scheme.
/nudge verify- Report what the page shows of the last batch.
/nudge history- List every batch sent this page load.
Then it checks.
After the reload: 2 of 3 applied.not applied: section#how > div.split-media: top edge is at 1180px, wanted 1296px
Sending a batch records what the page should measure once the change is in the code. After the reload nudge measures again and says what landed: 2 of 3 applied, then the value the page shows now against the value you asked for. In Claude Code the plugin does it on its own when the turn ends and prints the verdict under the answer.
A correction you cannot check is a correction you have to eyeball twice.
A browser with no handles.
The pane renders your site, and Claude can read it, click it and run scripts in it. Your side of the conversation is still words. nudge adds the layer the pane is missing.
selectSomewhere to put your hand on an element and its parent.
measureA ruler between two elements.
alignA guide that says two edges now agree.
recordA batch that says what you meant, in terms the agent can apply.
verifyA verdict that says how much of what you asked for is actually there.
